Avoid excessive workload:

  • Identify source of stress
  • Work with Purpose
  • Organize your time
  • Take care of yourself
  • Help or get help
  • Set your boundaries, learn to say “no”
  • Set realistic goals
  • Nothing is perfect – avoid perfectionism

Find your rhythm

  • Find your own rhythm of life - manage your time actively.
  • Take at least one long (lunch) break from work somewhere outside (out of your workplace)
  • Take frequent short breaks
  • Get moving - exercise outside or in front of an open window
  • Go for a walk or do some relaxing exercises
  • Don’t talk about work when you’re on a break

Take care of yourself

  • Pay attention to your own necessities
  • Avoid alcohol, tranquilizers etc.
  • Avoid exhaustion
  • Get enough sleep
  • Take one or two days off after working hard
  • Learn relaxation techniques and use them everyday
  • Do sports (running, cycling, swimming), etc.

Your work is not your life

  • Don’t mix professional concerns with your private life
  • Find balance between your private life and work
  • Make time for your family, friends and Hobbies
